The call for participation in the Ninth Edition of the Luigi Zordan Award has been published.
Important deadlines are as follows:
- 18/01/2026: submission of the application form
- 15/02/2026: submission of the participation form and documents.
The award is divided into two sections:
Section A:
Project-based theses, defended between 16/06/2023 and 31/12/2025, in Building Engineering-Architecture, Building Engineering, and Architecture, proposing original approaches to the theme “design and construction” in Architecture in terms of a consistent figurative and conformative translation or a coherent engineering process.
The award consists of a six-month internship at the EM2N studio, based in Zurich.
Section B:
Theses defended between 16/06/2023 and 31/12/2025, in Building Engineering-Architecture, Building Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Architecture, proposing original studies or “structural concepts” and/or innovative “construction systems” specifically for Infrastructure, large spans, and tall buildings; for theoretical/experimental theses concerning dry structures (steel or wood).
- For subsection B1, related to project-based theses, the award consists of a six-month internship at ACPV ARCHITECTS, based in Milan, associated with OICE (Association of Engineering, Architecture, and Technical-Economic Consulting Organizations).
- For subsection B2, related to theoretical-experimental theses, the award consists of a monetary recognition of €2,000 plus taxes.
